Police are looking for a white Chevy Silverado involved in a collision that sent three people to the hospital and forced the temporary closure of U.S. 42 in the Prospect area.
A woman and two children who were traveling in the second vehicle, an SUV, were transported to area hospital, but their injuries are not considered life-threatening, MetroSafe said. The woman was taken to University Hospital; the two children to Kosair Children's Hospital. The crash occurred on U.S. 42 at Woodstone Way at 3:03 p.m. U.S. was closed in both directions, from Wolf Pen Branch Road to Seminary Drive for more than an hour but has since reopened.
