Double Fatal Crash Occurs In Simpson County
According to police, 22-year-old Samantha Eastgate of Kensington, Pennsylvania was driving on Kentucky 11-70 with two passengers, 13-year-old Jonathan Rimmell The Fourth, and a one-year-old.
Two people were killed in a two-vehicle crash Friday in Simpson County, Kentucky at the intersection of KY 103 and KY 1170. The victims killed in the crash have been identified as 22-year-old Samantha Eastgate, of New Kensington, PA, and 13-year-old Jonathan Rimmell IV, from Woodburn, Kentucky. A one-year child was also in the vehicle, but was not hurt. Eastgate was traveling west on KY 1170 in a 2004 Volkswagon when she drove into the path of a 1976 International, which crashed into the Volkswagon on its passenger side.
