Man killed when he crashes his SUV into moving train in Christian Co.

Officials in Christian County, KY, are investigating a fatal collision between a car and a train Friday afternoon.

Hopkinsville police say a 24-year-old Hopkinsville man died in the collision, which was reported about 1:30 p.m. near Old Concord Lane.

Investigators say the train was moving through the railroad crossing when the driver of an SUV didn't stop and struck the moving train.

Further information has not been released, including the driver's identity. He was the only person in the vehicle, police said.
