Student Hurt in Western Kentucky School Bus Crash
Kentucky State Police say a school bus went off the road and hit a tree in western Kentucky, injuring a teenage student.

The Kentucky State Police said Christa Buckner, 47, of Hopkinsville, was driving the Freightliner school bus north on Kentucky 109 when the vehicle exited the right shoulder of the roadway.
A bus traveling on Kentucky 109 left the roadway on the right side, then the driver overcorrected and the bus swerved to the left, ran off the road, and hit a tree. One of the five students on the bus was injured. The injured student, a female 18-year-old, was taken to Jennie Stuart Medical Center complaining of leg pain.
