Dexter W. Derr, 58, killed in single-vehicle car crash into culvert off of U.S. 60 near Marion, Kentucky

A Sturgis man died after his vehicle crashed into a culvert in Crittenden County on Friday, just east of Marion, KY on U.S. 60 around 8:30 p.m. Dexter W. Derr, 58, was traveling east in a 2006 Mercedes sedan when the vehicle exited the roadway, struck a culvert, and overturned. Derr was pronounced deceased at the crash scene. Authorities say Derr was not wearing a seatbelt.
