A 52-year-old Centerville man was killed when his truck crossed a center divider and slammed into two cars on La. 182 near Franklin on Friday night.

After the impact, the Dodge truck rolled onto its right side and continued to travel in the westbound lane of LA 182. While on its side, the Dodge struck a Ford F150 traveling west, operated by a 50-year-old Patterson man. He and his passenger were not injured.
David Polidore was driving his truck on La. 182 when he struck an oncoming Honda Civic. The impact caused his truck to roll onto its side and slide into another vehicle, this one another truck. Polidore died at the scene. The passengers in the Civic, Rhonda Mello, 56, and Harley Mello, were hospitalized with moderate injuries. The passengers in the other truck, Terry Adams, 50, and Crystal Gonzalez were not hurt. Alcohol is suspected to be a factor in this accident. More information will be posted as it is released.
