Fri, 03/27/2015Joseph Deshotel was driving southbound on La. 13 approaching Johnson Street when his vehicle struck Terry Trumps in the southbound lane. Trumps was pronounced dead at the scene by the Evangeline Parish Coroner’s Office. Deshotel was uninjured. The crash is still under investigation.

She was pronounced dead at the scene The pickup fled the scene, traveling west on La. 182. The truck is believed to be a white or silver Dodge Ram 1500 truck.

Thu, 10/30/2014The accident occurred just before 8 a.m. on Martin Street in Breaux Bridge when for unknown reasons, a pickup truck ran off the road and hit a group of children. A 15-year-old girl died at the scene, a 14-year-old girl was taken to the hospital where she died.
