Pedestrian in critical condition after Kenner crash

The crash occurred about 8:30 a.m. in the 2700 block of Bainbridge Street, McGregor said. The driver, who was in a 1988 Ford Econoline van, was headed southbound when he drifted towards the right shoulder and hit the pedestrian, who was walking along the curb.
The driver of the van was also taken to a local hospital for a medical condition. Investigators determined the driver had no insurance for the van at the time of the crash. The pedestrian was in critical condition at LSU Interim Hospital in New Orleans.
