Joshua Snell, 24, died early Sunday morning after the car another man was driving crashed into a pole at the 5600 block of Magazine Street. The driver of that car, Luke Allison, 25, was booked with vehicular homicide, according to the NOPD. Allison was driving a silver, two-door Honda Civic west on Magazine at about 12:40 a.m. Sunday when he lost control of the vehicle and struck a metal pole. The 25-year-old male passenger, who was ejected from the vehicle, was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital. Allison was transported to the hospital for minor injury.
