According to Louisiana State Police, the crash occurred around 8 p.m. on Oct. 21 when 51-year-old Cheryl Billiot, from Pensacola, Fla., merged into the left lane on I-10 Eastbound and crashed into the back of a National Guard Humvee, which was part of a convoy of military vehicles and equipment.
