DeSoto Parish man dies in rollover crash

The crash was reported around 6 p.m. A preliminary investigation by Troop G indicates Sudds, the driver of a 1992 Dodge pickup truck, lost control, exited the roadway and began overturning multiple times.
Alcohol is suspected in the death Tuesday of a Mansfield man who was ejected from his vehicle during a rollover crash on state Highway 3015, state police said today in a news release. The victim, David Sudds Jr., 60, was pronounced dead at the scene. A toxicology sample was taken and submitted for analysis to determine alcohol use. The crash was reported around 6 p.m. A preliminary investigation by Troop G indicates Sudds, the driver of a 1992 Dodge pickup truck, lost control, exited the roadway and began overturning multiple times. The truck hit a fence and came to rest against a tree. Sudds was thrown while the truck rolled, the news release states. An investigation into the crash is continuing.
