1 person dead after Bangor crash involving car, 2 motorcycles

The name of the victim is being withheld until family can be notified, according to a statement released by police on Sunday.

Police ID motorcyclist killed Saturday in Bangor

Springer and Matthew Marquis, 34, of Bangor, were attempting to pass other vehicles, he said. While in the oncoming lane, both motorcycles collided with a vehicle that had turned left off of Davis Road onto Union Street.

Second motorcyclist injured in Bangor crash has died

Matthew Marquis, 34, of Bangor, died Monday at Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center of injuries suffered when his motorcycle collided with a vehicle at the intersection of Union Street and Davis Road about 11:10 a.m. Saturday, Sgt. Wade Betters, spokesman for the Bangor Police Department, said.
