Tasha Dostie, 50, was driving her 2002 Volkswagen Beetle at about 2:22 p.m. when the car left the roadway. When she overcorrected, her car went into a sideways spin and struck a tree, according to a media statement issued by Maine Department of Public Safety spokeswoman Shannon Moss.
