An investigation showed that a Toyota SUV being driven by 72-year-old Nancy Ezhaya entered the interstate heading south in the northbound lanes, according to state police. The Toyota then crashed head-on into a Honda SUV traveling north.

State police said the 61-year-old OSU professor and his wife were driving north on Interstate 295 in Falmouth when an SUV driving the wrong way on the interstate struck them head-on.
