Tina Dolloff, 45, killed; Spencer Brennick, 17, and Thomas Young, 17, injured in head-on crash on Route 140/Intervale Road in Jay, Maine

Officials work at the scene of a head-on crash on Route 140 in Jay, where a local woman was killed and two teenagers were injured Thursday afternoon. JAY — A local woman was killed when her vehicle and another collided head-on on Route 140, also known as Intervale Road, on Thursday afternoon. A 2005 Audi A4 traveling east was struck head-on. When police arrived they found Tina Dolloff, 45, of Jay, unresponsive in her vehicle, Detective Michael Mejia said in a news release Thursday night. The crash investigation was pending toxicology results from the drivers of both vehicles, which is standard protocol in fatal accidents.

A Jay woman who died in a head-on crash last month was legally drunk at the time, according to Jay police. Tests showed that 45-year-old Tina Dolloff had a blood alcohol level of .25 percent - more than three times the state's legal limit - on Jan. 14 when her car crossed the center line on Route 140 in Jay and hit another car head-on. Dolloff, who was driving without a valid license, died at the scene. Two teenage boys riding in the other car suffered minor injuries. Police said Dolloff's license had been revoked with a habitual offender status and that a warrant for her arrest had been issued because of an incident that had occurred just two days before the deadly crash.
