Police have released the identity of the man killed in a single-vehicle accident on Plains Road on Tuesday.
Police identified the man killed in a single-vehicle accident on Plains Road on Tuesday as Alex Cruz, 26, of Connecticut. The other two vehicle occupants, driver Thorr Ellis, 20, of Gardiner, and Bradley Plevyak, 19, suffered broken bones and internal injuries. The crash happened shortly before 5 p.m. when Ellis was driving north and swerved to avoid a deer. The car spun, struck a large boulder, sheared off a tree, and came to rest on its roof.
