A tractor-trailer was traveling southbound on Ritchie Highway when the pedestrian stepped out into the street and was struck by the tractor-trailer, police said.

Jacob Lee Jahnigen, 33, of Baltimore, stepped into the travel portion of the highway and was struck by a southbound tractor trailer owned by ASL Transportation in Williamstown, New Jersey.
