Theodore Pobywajlo, 75, killed in pedestrian accident with driver Edward Delamater, 46, on Back River Road and County Road in Bedford, Massachusetts

A pedestrian in Bedford was hit and killed Saturday night at the intersection of Back River Road and County Road around 5:20 p.m. The victim was identified as Theodore Pobywajlo, 75, of Bedford. He was taken to the hospital where he later died. The driver of the vehicle that struck Pobywajlo was identified as Edward Delamater, 46, of Bedford. Delamater was uninjured. Police said alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the collision.
