Man injured in collision with Globe delivery truck on I-93.

A Boston Globe delivery truck and a pickup truck collided on the northbound side of Interstate 93 in Boston early this morning, injuring the 37-year-old pickup truck driver, State Police said.

The crash occurred at 1:05 a.m. near Exit 28 in Boston, sending the pickup truck over the guardrail, where it was hanging when police arrived.

The pickup truck driver was sent to Massachusetts General Hospital, where he is being treated for injuries that were not considered life-threatening, said State Trooper Todd Nolan.

A 30-year-old female passenger from Wilmington in the pickup truck was not injured. The 45-year-old Globe truck driver from Halifax was also not injured.

State Police shut down a section of I-93 North while the vehicles were towed from the scene and debris was recovered.
