Germaine Stokes, 45, killed and Sakeena L. Tarpley, 23 and three others injured in rollover crash on I-95 in Canton, Massachusetts

State Police say a passenger has died in a sport utility vehicle rollover and three others and the driver were injured. Police say they responded to several calls of a single vehicle crash at 2:15 a.m. Sunday on I-95 near Canton. Affected parts of the highway were closed for about two hours. An unidentified 45-year-old female passenger was declared dead at Norwood Hospital. The operator of the vehicle was identified as 23-year-old Sakeena L. Tarpley of Boston’s Dorchester neighborhood. She was hospitalized with a non-incapacitating injury. The three other passengers also had non-incapacitating injuries. The identity of the passenger who died is being withheld until her family is notified. Police say the crash is being investigated.
