Authorities say a truck driver has come forward to say he may be responsible for a fatal pedestrian accident in Uxbridge.

Meanwhile, police have identified the man apparently struck from behind and killed as he walked along the side of a road.
Police say 55-year-old Robert Orcutt died at the scene after getting struck at about 7:45 p.m. Sunday.
A spokesman for the Worcester district attorney’s office stated the the driver of a tractor-trailer came forward Monday and told investigators he thought he hit something as he drove through Uxbridge. The driver says he stopped and looked around his truck, but didn’t find anything, so drove on. He came forward when he heard about the fatality
