Two dead in fiery Swansea crash

The car drove off Route 195 into the woods and burst into flames overnight Thursday into Friday.

When troopers arrived just after 11 p.m., the car was completely engulfed in flames.

2 dead, 1 hurt in fiery crash in Swansea

A third occupant, a young man, was outside the vehicle when police arrived and was taken to Rhode Island Hospital in Providence.

State Police identify 2 killed in fiery Swansea crash

The driver of the car, 22-year-old Katrina Gomes, and 19-year-old passenger Joseph Vodden, both of Taunton, were killed after the car drove off Route 195 into the woods and burst into flames.
A crashed off of Route 195 near Exit 2 into the woods late Thursday night in Swansea.  The car burst into flames, killing a young man and woman. A third man in the car managed to survived, but there is no word on his condition. We'll update this post as more information comes in.
