Ludlow Car Accident Sends 3 People To Hospital

Police say one car was traveling on Mass Ave when it collided with another car heading north on Alfred St. One of the vehicles ended up on the front yard of a nearby house.

Fire Department ambulances took the 63 year old and 43 year old drivers to Baystate Medical Center. Their injuries aren’t believed to be serious.

Police are investigating the accident that happened at about 1 p.m. in the intersection of Massachusetts Avenue and Alvin Street. No citations have been issued but speed was an issue, Police Sgt. David Belanger said.
Two cars collided on Massachusetts Avenue, injuring three people. One of the cars wound up in the front yard of a neraby residence. Three people were injured, but their injuries were deemed non-life threatening. Authorities believe speed was a contributing factor. No citations have been issued.
