The driver who allegedly caused the accident, 56-year-old Ronald Shaw of Ellington, CT, was driving erratically and on the wrong side of the road.

One of the drivers, a woman, was pinned in the vehicle and needed to be removed by firefighters using Jaws of Life hydraulic equipment. Kane said Shaw was scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday afternoon in Palmer District Court.
Police received a report of a three car accident at 968 Main Street. Ronald Shaw allegedly hit two vehicles. The Wilbraham Fire Dept. had to use the “jaws of life” to get one of the drivers out of their vehicle. Shaw was arrested by Officer Lawrence Rich for OUI Drugs and Negligent Operation.
