St. Clair County Sheriff deputies responded to the one-car crash about 7:30 a.m. on eastbound I-94 near Water Street. Upon investigating they found the 28-year-old man lost control of his car after a spare tire came loose from his car. The car spun and hit an exit sign near the back of his car.
