Miho Saljic, 48, a driver from ALCO Transportation, is accused of backing up a semitrailer loaded with steel coils Saturday afternoon when he hit Heather Deshawn Warren.

Warren was apparently directing trucks in the facility’s loading area when she was struck by Saljic, who was not using a spotter. 
A semitrailer driver has been arrested in a fatal trucking accident that killed a U.S. Steel employee at the Great Lakes Works Cold Mill Shipping. Heather Warren, 41, of Inkster died Saturday after she was hit by a semitrailer as it backed up at the facility in Ecorse. Warren was spotting a truck when she was run over by another truck that didn't have a spotter. The 47-year-old driver of the truck is in custody. The Prosecuting Attorney could file charges against the driver.
