Two teens injured in accident

Two teenagers recently were injured in a single vehicle accident that took place on Harrington Road near Kilgore Road.  According to the Sanilac County Sheriff’s Office, 17-year-old David Smeader, of Carsonville, and his 18-year-old passenger Margaret Schieman, of Croswell, were traveling west on Harrington Road Tuesday evening when Smeader lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle then exited the roadway and climbed an embankment before reentering the roadway and overturning, coming to rest on its tires.
