According to police, a truck was attempting to go around the crossing gates, which were down, when it was struck by a passenger train.

The Wayne County Medical Examiner's Office on Thursday identified the woman as 58-year-old Shirley Kendricks. Her death was ruled an accident caused by multiple injuries.
