Girl Dies After Being Struck by Multiple Vehicles on M-20
A 14-year-old girl died in Isabella County Thursday night after she was struck by multiple vehicles on M-20. It happened about 8:15 on M-20 between Wise and Chippewa Roads.

The sheriff’s office said it appears the victim walked into the roadway and the drivers who struck her were unable to stop or maneuver around her. The victim was identified as a 14-year-old female from Chippewa Township and someone who lived close to where the crash happened.

Police were dispatched to Pickard Road/M20 where the girl was found lying dead in the roadway. Investigators believe she stepped into the road and was struck by multiple vehicles, causing major trauma.
