27-year-old Caro man dies from injuries after crashing into tree in Tuscola County

According to his obituary, Leisentritt worked at Steinkopf's Nursery and Tree Farm in Caro as well as the Tri City Motor Speedway. Friends and family members took to the speedway's Facebook page following his death to share their condolences and memories of Leisentritt.
27-year-old Jayson Leisentritt, from Caro, has died from his injuries after crashing into a tree the morning of Saturday, Dec. 6.  Sometime during the evening, police believe Leisentritt's vehicle drifted nearly 100 feet off Rossman near Phillips in Kingston Township before crashing into a tree. After being transported to Marlette Hospital, Leisentritt was then airlifted to Beaumont Hospital, where he later died from his injuries. When law enforcement officers found the 27-year-old's vehicle crashed into a tree, they discovered the engine block was cold, indicating the collision occurred hours beforehand. Leisentritt was last seen by his fiancee shortly after 11 p.m. Friday, Dec. 5. Family and friends have also set up a GoFundMe page collecting donations for Leisentritt's fiancee and their children.
