It happened around 4:46 a.m. Wednesday on M-46 near Cedar Lake in Home Township, between Edmore and Vestaburg.

Michigan State Police say a 42-year-old man from Vestaburg was driving westbound on M-46 when he hit 40-year-old Steven Hax of Six Lakes. Hax died at the scene.
