One person critical, two others in serious condition after two car crash in Calhoun County.
3 hurt after 2-car crash near Albion.
West Michigan Air Care was called to the scene of a two-vehicle crash northwest of Albion Wednesday. The crash happened on Michigan Avenue near 26 Mile Road in Sheridan Township, according to the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office. The driver of a westbound vehicle lost control on the icy road, crossed the center line and hit an oncoming vehicle. The passenger from the eastbound vehicle, an 18-year-old Albion woman, needed to be extricated from the vehicle by rescuers. She was airlifted to Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo, where she was listed in critical condition Wednesday. The 38-year-old Albion driving the westbound vehicle and the 48-year-old Marshall woman driving the eastbound vehicle were both taken to Allegiance Hospital in Jackson and were listed in listed in stable condition. The sheriff’s office says alcohol and drugs are not factors in the crash and it appears everyone was wearing their seat belts.
