A driver died after he was ejected from his vehicle in a rollover accident and landed in the roadway early Sunday morning around 5 a.m. on East Beltline Avenue. The driver, Yum Buck Chin, 57, from Grand Rapids, drove off the roadway, overcorrected, lost control and rolled his vehicle. Authorities arriving at the scene found the driver unconscious in the roadway. Chin was taken to the Spectrum Butterworth Hospital where he later died. He was not wearing a seatbelt, and the air bags didn’t deploy.
