Liquid manure spill after semi crash

A semi-truck crashed in northeastern Ionia County on Tuesday, spilling liquid manure. According to the Ionia Department of Public Safety’s Facebook page, the crash happened before 1:30 p.m. on O’Brien Road near the village of Hubbardston. Ionia DPS said its hazmat team was called in to help the Hubbarston Fire Department with containing and cleaning up the spill.
