Deputy accused in drunk driving crash facing formal charges

KALAMAZOO, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A Calhoun County deputy accused of driving drunk and crashing is expected to be formally charged Friday. She faces four misdemeanor charges stemming from this month's crash near Douglas Avenue and Forbes Street. Right now the deputy is on administrative leave.

The deputy has been placed on administrative leave while the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office conducts its own internal investigation.
