Serious injuries in three car crash Thursday in Sturgis

Police say it started with a head-on collision. A third car then came along and struck one of the vehicles involved in the first crash.

Driver charged with murder after head-on crash turns deadly

The 36-year-old Three Rivers man who caused the crash was also taken to the hospital with injuries. He was later arrested on an open murder charge, according to the St. Joseph County prosecutor.     

Sturgis man dies in crash, charges to be filed

Sturgis Police say 36-year-old Paul Middling of Three Rivers has been arrested on an open murder charge after they claim he was the at-fault driver. Middling is also facing charges of driving while intoxicated on alcohol and drugs and resisting arrest.
