Police identify Sand Lake man, 21, as victim in fatal crash
Police have identified John Roberts, 21, of Sand Lake as the man killed in a three-vehicle crash Saturday night in Northern Kent County.

A three-vehicle collision just before midnight Saturday killed one person and injured two others. The crash occurred on M-57 in Courtland Township at 11:30 p.m. Feb. 28. Authorities say the driver of a Subaru crossed the centerline and collided with a 2005 Toyota pickup. Another vehicle, a 1995 Honda, then collided with the pickup truck. The Subaru driver was pronounced deceased at the crash site. The driver and passenger of the pickup were transported to Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital. The male driver is listed in stable condition, while the female passenger is in critical condition. No one was injured in the third vehicle. Check back for updates.
