Milton was a well-known server at an Applebees restaurant on 28th Street in Wyoming. Staff there are remembering her this week, as well as at another 28th Street location in Cascade, but declined comment per her family's wishes.
Brittney Milton, 21, and Kenneth Cheatom, 35, as the two who died in a single-vehicle collision Sunday in Wyoming at 2:10 a.m. on 28th Street. Milton was driving a 2005 Pontiac G6 when the car hit a curb, exited the road and hit a utility pole, flipping the vehicle over. Milton and Cheatom, both Wyoming residents, later died of their injuries. It is thought that weather was a contributing factor.
