Snowmobiler in critical condition after crashing into road grader

The Sheriff tells us Sherry Marie Calnin was driving a 2001 Arctic Cat snowmobile on Wyckerly Drive when she was going too fast to stop at a stop sign.
The accident occurred shortly after 1 p.m. on Pine View Drive and Wycherley Drive in Mancelona Township. A snowmobile driver was traveling east on Wycherley Drive when she failed to stop at the stop sign at the intersection, striking the wing plow blade of an Antrim County Road Comiision grader that was headed south on Pine View Drive. The wing type of snow plow blade extends out from the side of plow trucks, allowing them to clear the lane and road shoulder simultaneously. The woman had no identification with her and was airlifted to Munson Medical Center by North Flight EMS. She was in critical condition as of the last update.
