Russell M. Auginaush, 35, killed in hit-and-run pedestrian collision on Lower Rice Lake Road in Clearwater County, Minnesota

Driver arrested, accused of fatal hit-and-run in northern Minn.

Sunday along Lower Rice Lake Road near Rice Lake, according to the Sheriff'€™s Office. The 43-year-old suspect, from Rice Lake, Minn., was arrested without incident about 3:30 p.m. The vehicle suspected as being the one that hit Auginaush was seized later Sunday afternoon at a home not far from the scene, Halverson said. Monday and will be charged with running over Russell M. Auginaush, 35, of Naytahwaush, Minn., around 2:30 p.m. Sheriff Darin Halverson said it appeared that Auginaush '€œwas in the lane of traffic slightly'€ at the time he was run over.
