Sharon Weckwerth, 66, killed in crash with semi truck on Old Highway 14 on July 18.

A 66-year-old woman died after the car she was driving collided with a semi on a county road in southern Minnesota Friday morning. The incident occured on Old Highway 14 at 10:46 a.m. near the 95th Street intersection. Sharon Weckwerth of Waseca was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Waseca County Sheriff's Office. The semi was driven by 61-year-old Randall Mahlman of Owatonna. It is unclear if he was injured in the crash. The road was closed between 110th Street and County Road 17, but has since reopened. No other information is available at this time.
