Car Accident Involves LeSueur County Sheriff's Deputy and K-9

The Minnesota State Patrol is investigating an accident last night involving a LeSueur County Sheriff's Deputy. According to the LeSueur County Sheriff's office, k–9 handler Sergeant Dave Struckman reported his squad car was hit by another vehicle on County Road 162 and County Road 161 in Montgomery. Struckman had to be extricated from the car and received non–life threatening injuries. His dog Kane was taken to a veterinary clinic with non–life threatening injuries.
