Roger Richardson, 68, killed and Loretta Richardson, 66, injured in car crash with truck driven by Jacob Beckius, 23, on Highway 60 near Mountain Lake, Minnesota

One person was killed in two-vehicle accident in Cottonwood County Friday afternoon at around 1 p.m. on Highway 60 near Mountain Lake. Jacob Beckius, 23, of St. James, was driving an International strait truck southbound on 570th Avenue at Highway 60 and was making a turn on Highway 60 when he collided with Roger Richardson, 68, and Loretta Richardson, 66, of Windom, who were driving a Buick LeSabre eastbound on Highway 60. Roger Richardson died following the collision. Loretta Richardson sustained non-life threatening injuries. Beckius was uninjured.
