Plymouth County District Attorney Timothy Cruz identified the pedestrian Thursday as 65-year-old Douglas Mason. Officials say Mason was about to cross Water Street on Wednesday morning, when he was hit by a 75-year-old Plymouth woman who was backing into an empty parking space.
