IDs released of 2 teen drivers killed in head-on crash in W. Minnesota

A 16-year-old girl from nearby Kensington was heading east in her car and collided with a westbound pickup truck driven by a 19-year-old man from Brooten, Minn., said the patrol, which has not disclosed which vehicle crossed into the wrong lane.

Taylor attended the West Central Area South Elementary School in Kensington, and then the West Central Area School in Barrett, where she was in the 10th grade. Taylor was very active with school activities. She worked at Main Street Athletics in Hoffman and Crossroads in Kensington.

Joe was a deeply loved member of his class and had a smile for everyone who met him. Joe was part of the Cub Scouts in Brooten for several years. In his six years at BBE High School, he participated in: football, basketball, wrestling, and baseball.
