Western Minnesota Man Dies in Head-On Collision with Semi

The Otter Tail County Sheriff's Office, Todd County Sheriff's Office, Wadena County Sheriff's Office and the Verndale Police Department assisted the state patrol.
Gabriel Kemp of Bluffton, Minnesota, was killed in a head-on collision with a semi-truck early Saturday morning on Highway 71 at 120th Street in the Verndale area of Wadena County at about 12:45 a.m. Kemp was a passenger in a car driven by Tyler Langer, 22, heading north on Highway 71. The car crossed the center line and hit a semi heading south. Kemp died at the crash site. Langer was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries. The driver of the commercial truck had no apparent injuries.
