Update: One killed in Highway 169 vehicle collision

Alberto Gracia-Palacios died at the scene. He was driving a 2002 southbound Chevrolet Cavalier when the automobile crossed the highway's centerline about 7 p.m. and struck a northbound 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix, the patrol said. A passenger in the Cavalier, Devon A. Schmitz, 19, of LaSalle, was treated for serious injuries at the hospital in Blue Earth, the patrol said.
