A Plantersville man was killed after being hit by a car in Tupelo. Lee County Coroner Carolyn Green said 53-year-old Curtis Ellis died at the scene. The accident happened about 5:30 Sunday evening on Cliff Gookin Boulevard, near Mike’s Bar and Grill.
