18 Wheeler and Log Truck Collide on Hwy 49

According to the Forrest Co. Sheriff's Dept. around 6:30 am, an 18 wheeler and log truck collided on HWY 49 in the Brooklyn Community. 

Driver injured, traffic diverted after 18-wheeler, log truck collide in Forrest County

It happened about 6:30 a.m. in Brooklyn near the Kangaroo convenience store. Authorities said the collision sent the truck driver, James Moseley, 55, of Brandon, to the hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries. 
 James Moseley was driving an 18-wheeler on Highway 49 when his vehicle collided with a log truck driven by Paul Lee, 68, of Seminary. Moseley was transported to a hospital for serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Lee was not injured. This accident is still under investigation.
