Maverick Johnson, 17, a Purvis High School senior, is home recovering after being struck by a vehicle on Tuesday evening on Beaver Lake Road. Johnson's mother said he suffered a concussion, which has affected his short term memory. He also received a number of stitches and has significant scrapes on his face, head, hands and legs.
